March 2, Scripture Reading: 2 Samuel 11-13

The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all. Bless the Lord, you His angels, mighty in strength, who perform His word, obeying the voice of His word! Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, you who serve Him, doing His will. Bless the Lord, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion; Bless the Lord, O my soul!

Psalm 103:19-22

March 1, Scripture Reading:  2 Samuel 6-10

As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, and its place acknowledges it no longer. But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children. To those who keep His covenant and remember His precepts to do them.

Psalm 103:15-18

February 29, Scripture Reading:  2 Samuel 1-5

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust.

Psalm 103:11-14

February 28, Scripture Reading:  Catch up time.  No new Scriptures for today – We will begin reading 2 Samuel on Monday, February 29.  Enjoy your Sabbath Rest.

February 27, Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 27-31 (When you make it to the end of 1 Samuel, can you please email me and let me know – I would LOVE to hear from you and know if you are still reading through God’s amazing Word with me.)

The Lord performs righteous deeds and judgments for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel. The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

Psalm 103:6-10

February 26, Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 23-26

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.

Psalm 103:1-5

February 25, Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 20-22

I sing of lovingkindness and justice, to You, O Lord, I will sing praises. I will give heed to the blameless way. When will You come for me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart. I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not fasten its grip on me. A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil. Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; No one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart will I endure.

Psalm 101: 1-5

February 24, Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 17-19

But to the wicked God says, “What right have you to tell of My statutes and to take My covenant in your mouth? For you hate discipline, and you cast My words behind you. When you see a thief, you are pleased with him, and you associate with adulterers. You let your mouth loose in evil and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother’s son. These things you have done and I kept silence; You thought that I was just like you; I will reprove you and state the case in order before your eyes. Now consider this, you who forget God, or I will tear you in pieces, and there will be none to deliver. He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; And to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God.”

Psalm 50: 16-22

February 23, Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 14-16

Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Israel, I will testify against you; I am God, your God. I do not reprove you for your sacrifices, and your burnt offerings are continually before Me. I shall take no young bull out of your house nor male goats out of your folds. For every beast of the forest is Mine, the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird of the mountains, and everything that moves in the field is Mine. If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is Mine, and all it contains. Shall I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of male goats? Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High; Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me.

Psalm 50:7-15

February 22, Scripture Reading:  1 Samuel 11-13

The Mighty One, God, the Lord, has spoken, and summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shone forth. May our God come and not keep silence; Fire devours before Him, and it is very tempestuous around Him. He summons the heavens above, and the earth, to judge His people: “Gather My godly ones to Me, those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.” And the heavens declare His righteousness, for God Himself is judge.

Psalm 50:1-6

February 21, Scripture Reading:  1 Samuel 1-10

Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults. Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; Then I will be blameless, and I shall be acquitted of great transgression.  Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 19:12-14

February 20, Scripture Reading:  Ruth 1-4

The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.  The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.  The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether.  They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them Your servant is warned; In keeping them there is great reward.

Psalm 19:7-11

February 19, Scripture Reading:  Judges 17-21

The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.  Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard.  Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their utterances to the end of the world.  In them He has placed a tent for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber; It rejoices as a strong man to run his course.  Its rising is from one end of the heavens, and its circuit to the other end of them; And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

Psalm 19:1-6

February 18, Scripture Reading:  Judges 14-16

The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous; The Lord protects the strangers; He supports the fatherless and the widow, but He thwarts the way of the wicked.  The Lord will reign forever, Your God, O Zion, to all generations.  Praise the Lord!

Psalm 146:8-10

February 17, Scripture Reading:  Judges 9-13

Praise the Lord!  Praise the Lord, O my soul! I will praise the Lord while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Do not trust in princes, in mortal man, in whom there is no salvation. His spirit departs, he returns to the earth; In that day his thoughts perish. How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them; Who keeps faith forever; Who executes justice for the oppressed; Who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free.

Psalm 146:1-7

February 16, Scripture Reading:  Judges 6-8

Bow Your heavens, O Lord, and come down; Touch the mountains, that they may smoke.  Flash forth lightning and scatter them; Send out Your arrows and confuse them.  Stretch forth Your hand from on high; Rescue me and deliver me out of great waters, out of the hand of aliens whose mouths speak deceit, and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

Psalm 144:5-8

February 15, Scripture Reading:  Judges 1-5

Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle; My lovingkindness and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield and He in whom I take refuge, who subdues my people under me.  O Lord, what is man, that  You take knowledge of him? Or the son of man, that You think of him? Man is like a mere breath; His days are like a passing shadow.

Psalm 144:1-4

February 14, Scripture Reading:  Joshua 24 (Happy Sabbath Rest – Jesus loves you!!!)

Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty expanse. Praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with trumpet sound; Praise Him with harp and lyre. Praise Him with timbrel and dancing; Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe. Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!

Psalm 150

February 13, Scripture Reading:  Joshua 18-23

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth.  Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing.  Know that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.  Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise.  Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting and His faithfulness to all generations.

Psalm 100

February 12, Scripture Reading:  Joshua 15-17

Behold, bless the Lord, all servants of the Lord, who serve by night in the house of the Lord! Lift up your hands to the sanctuary and bless the Lord. May the Lord bless you from Zion, He who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 134

February 11, Scripture Reading:  Joshua 10-14

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand.  When I awake, I am still with You.  Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.

Psalm 139:17-18, 23-24

February 10, Scripture Reading:  Joshua 6-9

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.  I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.  My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them.

Psalm 139:13-16

February 9, Scripture Reading:  Joshua 1-5

Where can I go from Your Spirit?  Or where can I flee from Your presence?  If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.  If I take the wings of the dawn, if I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will lay hold of me.  If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, and the light around me will be night,” even the darkness is not dark to You, and the night is as bright as the day.  Darkness and light are alike to You.

Psalm 139:7-12

February 8, Scripture Reading:  Deuteronomy 30-34

O Lord, You have searched me and known me.  You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar.  You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways.  Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O Lord, You know it all.  You have enclosed me behind and before, and laid Your hand upon me.  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it.

Psalm 139:1-6

February 7, Scripture Reading:  Deuteronomy 19-29 (This is a lot of reading, but how wonderful for our Sabbath Day of Rest!)  Press On Ye Blessed of the Lord! 🙂

To You I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens!  Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He is gracious to us.  Be gracious to us, O Lord, be gracious to us, for we are greatly filled with contempt.  Our soul is greatly filled with the scoffing of those who are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

Psalm 123

February 6, Scripture Reading:  Deuteronomy 16-18

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come?  My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.  He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber, behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.  The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade on your right hand.  The sun will not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.  The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.  The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever.

Psalm 121

February 5, Scripture Reading:  Deuteronomy 13-15

The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock; And exalted be the God of my salvation, the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me.  He delivers me from my enemies; Surely You lift me above those who rise up against me; You rescue me from the violent man.  Therefore I will give thanks to You among the nations, O Lord, and I will sing praises to Your name.  He gives great deliverance to His king, and shows lovingkindness to His anointed, to David and his descendants forever.

Psalm 18:46-50

February 4, Scripture Reading:  Deuteronomy 10-12

As for God, His way is perfect:  The word of Jehovah is tried; He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in Him.  For who is God, save Jehovah?  And who is a rock, besides our God, the God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect? He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet:  And setteth me upon my high places.  He teacheth my hands to war; So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.  Thou hast also given me the shield of Thy salvation; And Thy right hand hath holden me up, and Thy gentleness hath made me great.  Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.

Psalm 18:30-36 (My Nook KJ Version)

February 3, Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 7-9

With the kind You show Yourself kind; With the blameless You show Yourself blameless; With the pure You show Yourself pure, and with the crooked You show Yourself astute.  For You save an afflicted people, but haughty eyes You abase.  For You light my lamp; The Lord my God illumines my darkness.  For by You I can run upon a troop; And by my God I can leap over a wall.

Psalm 18:25-29

February 2, Scripture Reading:  Deuteronomy 4-6

The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me.  For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.  For all His ordinances were before me, and I did not put away His statutes from me.  I was also blameless with Him, and I kept myself from my iniquity.  Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His eyes.

Psalm 18:20-24

February 1, Scripture Reading:  Deuteronomy 1-3

He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters.  He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my stay.  He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me.

Psalm 18:16-19

January 31 – Sabbath, Day of Rest – No additional Scripture Reading for today – A day of catch up to the end of Numbers. 🙂 Blessings for a peaceful and restful Day with Jesus Christ our Lord!  Monday we will begin with Deuteronomy!!! Press on!

January 30, Scripture Reading:  Numbers 31-36 (I cannot believe we have read the first four books of the Bible in only one month!!!!)  Great job – keep on reading! 🙂

From the brightness before Him passed His thick clouds, hailstones and coals of fire. The Lord also thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered His voice, hailstones and coals of fire. He sent out His arrows, and scattered them, and lightning flashes in abundance, and routed them.  Then the channels of water appeared, and the foundations of the world were laid bare at Your rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.

Psalm 18:12-15

January 29, Scripture Reading:  Numbers 23-30

Then the earth shook and quaked; And the foundations of the mountains were trembling and were shaken, because He was angry.  Smoke went up out of His nostrils, and fire from His mouth devoured; Coals were kindled by it.  He bowed the heavens also, and came down with thick darkness under His feet.  He rode upon a cherub and flew; And He sped upon the wings of the wind.  He made darkness His hiding place, His canopy around Him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

Psalm 18:7-11

January 28, Scripture Reading:  Numbers 16-22

I love You, O Lord, my strength.  The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.  The cords of death encompassed me, and the torrents of ungodliness terrified me.  The cords of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me.  In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears.

Psalm 18:1-6

January 27, Scripture Reading:  Numbers 10-15

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers!  But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.  He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.  The wicked are not so, but they are like chaff which the wind drives away.  Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.  For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

Psalm 1

The arrogant have dug pits for me, men who are not in accord with Your law. All Your commandments are faithful; They have persecuted me with a lie; Help me! My soul cleaves to the dust; Revive me according to Your Word. I have told of my ways, and You have answered me; Teach me Your statutes. Make me understand the way of Your precepts, so I will meditate on Your wonders. My soul weeps because of grief; Strengthen me according to Your Word. Remove the false way from me, and graciously grant me Your law. I have chosen the faithful way; I have placed Your ordinances before me. I cling to Your testimonies; O Lord, do not put me to shame! I shall run the way of Your commandments, for You will enlarge my heart.

Psalm 119:25-32

Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live and keep Your Word. Open my eyes, that I may behold wonderful things form Your law. I am a stranger in the earth; Do not hide Your commandments from me. My soul is crushed with longing after Your ordinances at all times. You rebuke the arrogant, the cursed, who wander from Your commandments. Take away reproach and contempt from me, for I observe Your testimonies. Even though princes sit and talk against me, Your servant meditates on Your statutes. Your testimonies also are my delight; They are my counselors.

Psalm 119:17-24

How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your Word. With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. Your Word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You. Blessed are You, O Lord; Teach me your statutes. With my lips I have told of all the ordinances of Your mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate on Your precepts and regard Your ways. I shall delight in Your statutes; I shall not forget Your Word.

Genesis 1-5

How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord. How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart. They also do no unrighteousness; They walk in His ways. You have ordained Your precepts that we should keep them diligently. Oh that my ways may be established to keep Your statutes! Then I shall not be ashamed when I look upon all Your commandments. I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, when I learn Your judgments. I shall keep Your statutes; Do not forsake me utterly!
